UK businesses join forces to raise funds for children with a disability at Caudwell Children’s Sports Day
Caudwell Children’s Sports Day took place in Hyde Park, London and raised over £1752 for disabled and autistic children. Alongside Caudwell Children and BECK, Calfordseaden, DML Group, EDM – London, EPR Architects, Gardiner & Theobald, Mace, Turner & Townsend and Careys took part in the fundraising event.
Participants were welcomed with a drink and competed against each other in a variety of different races including: egg and spoon race, sack race, skipping race, challenge race and relay race.
Award-winning construction and interior fit company BECK Interiors, sponsored the event and said “We’re delighted to have sponsored the Caudwell Children’s Sports Day 2023, a special event to raise vital funds for disabled and autistic children. This incredible charity aims to change their futures by providing diagnosis, equipment, services, and support to help them lead full and active lives.”
All competitors received a medal for taking part and trophies were given out to the winners of each race.
Clare Wherton, SME Partnership Manager at Caudwell Children helped to organise the event and said “It was a pleasure to work on the task force and deliver this amazing event.
“A big thank you to all the teams that competed and a massive thank you to BECK Interiors for sponsoring this event. It was great to see all these teams having so much fun together, can’t wait to start working on the next event.”
