Starbucks Festival Park

Caudwell Children’s Purple People recently visited Starbucks Festival Park, Stoke after they raised an incredible £450 through their Tip Jar initiative and have chosen to sponsor brand-new Communication Boards at Hanley Park, Tunstall Park, Etruria Park and West Park, Macclesfield.

We spoke with Fay, a Starbucks’ representative and proud Caudwell Children beneficiary, about their motivation behind their fundraising support.

What inspired you to fundraise for Caudwell Children?

Caudwell Children is very personal to me; they’ve supported myself and my son, Riley, through a rough time last year and I wanted to give something back.

How did you involve your team and customers?

We’re not just a team at Starbucks, we’re a family. Everyone knows my son, they know about his disabilities, and how important Caudwell Children has been for us and for so many other children.

So, as soon as I told them we were raising money for Caudwell Children, they couldn’t wait to start fundraising

What other ways is Starbucks supporting Caudwell Children?

We have six Starbucks stores in Stoke and they’ve all seen the difference that charities make in our local community. As a brand, Starbucks always supports inclusion and diversity, such as autism and ADHD. It’s very important to us that we are involved in that, which is why we’ve sponsored Caudwell Children’s Communication Boards in local parks to help children and adults communicate in their own way.

A huge thank you to Starbucks Festival Park and the wider team for their incredible support. Your generosity is making a meaningful impact in the community!
