Dashing Through The Snow – A Journey to the North Pole!
Christmas is in jeopardy, Santa’s mischievous elves have left the workshop and have decided to take a vacation instead, leaving this year’s toys unfinished. But fear not, Caudwell Children is stepping in to save the day, but we can’t do it alone.
It’s snow joke, Santa needs you!
Calling all explorers, do you have what it takes to join Caudwell Children on an epic dash through the snow? We need a courageous team of Santa’s helpers to trek over 2,500 miles through snow-covered mountains and icy valleys to reach the North Pole before Christmas Eve and help Santa save Christmas.
The campaign is taking place from 4th November until 15th December. How you reach the North Pole is entirely up to you—whether you walk, cycle, or even swim, every mile counts!
So far we’ve travelled 1,862 miles to the North Pole!

Here’s how it works
1: Sign-up to the challenge as a team, workplace, school or individual
2: Choose your challenge pack. You have the option to download for free or request to have your pack posted (this will come with a postal charge)
3: Through email and in your challenge pack, you will receive instructions on how to sync your activity onto strava and how to track alongside all other Santa’s helpers.
4: Make your way through the North Pole map provided in your challenge pack, which consists of 4 checkpoints (per 625 miles that all Santa’s helpers reach)
5: Link your fundraising activity onto the Dashing Through The Snow fundraising page
6: Download your completion certificates from our resources section

Christmas Challenge FAQs
The Dashing Through The Snow Challenge is a festive fundraising campaign where you can walk, cycle, or even swim a total of 2,500 miles (collectively with other participants) to reach the North Pole and help save Christmas. All proceeds go towards supporting disabled and autistic children through Caudwell Children.
The challenge runs from 4th November to 15th December. You can start tracking your miles at any point during this time.
You can sign up as an individual, team, workplace, or school. Simply click on the “Sign-Up Here” button on our website to get started.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive instructions in your challenge pack on how to sync your activities with Strava and track your progress alongside other Santa’s helpers.
Yes! You can walk, run, cycle, swim, or combine multiple activities to reach your mileage goal. Every mile counts toward our collective journey to the North Pole.
Your challenge pack includes a North Pole map with four checkpoints, instructions for syncing activities, fundraising tips, and resources for completing the challenge. You can download the pack for free or opt to have it mailed to you for a small postal fee.
You can link your activity to our Dashing Through The Snow fundraising page and use creative ideas from our “Christmas Fundraising Ideas” blog. Fundraising activities can include bake sales, holiday parties, or fun outdoor adventures!
Our collective fundraising target is £2,500, which will directly support disabled and autistic children. We encourage everyone to do their best and have fun while fundraising!
Yes! Once you complete your miles, you can download a certificate from our resources section to celebrate your achievement.
