Evie-Mae, It’s YOUR Time to Shine!

To mark 25 years of Seeing Potential, Caudwell Children are thrilled to launch Time to Shine. Over the next few months, we’ll be celebrating the talents of disabled and neurodivergent children and young people across the UK and what better way to kick-off this incredible campaign than by introducing you to Evie-Mae!

Evie-Mae is a 14-year-old autistic artist from Stoke-on-Trent with an unstoppable imaginative spark, bringing creativity to life. All of her hand-drawn pieces come from the heart and reflect her passion and dedication. Evie-Mae is also a talented singer, a proud member of a choir and dreams of having a career in Forensics.

Evie-Mae’s artistic journey started at a young age, with her family quickly recognising her incredible gift.

Evie-Mae’s mum said “We thought she had a very special talent for art at a young age and only recently has been showing her work publicly. She enjoys showing what she can do, and hope it helps to encourage other neurodiverse children.”

Evie-Mae has also started a series to celebrate Stoke on Trent’s Centenary, including stunning artwork of Queen’s Park in Longton.

Now, she is preparing to showcase her talent at the Stranger Skies Exhibition, launching on March 20th. This exciting exhibition brings together local artists from across Stoke-on-Trent, highlighting their unique perspectives and creative work. Evie-Mae’s art will be displayed alongside other talented artists, celebrating the diversity of artistic expression within the city.
