The Moth Ball Brought Gothic Glamour to London, where a Life-Changing £76,160 was Donated
On All Hallows Eve, we entered the bewitching World of the Moth Ball
On 31st October 2024, we hosted our inaugural gothic-themed gala, The Moth Ball, where the supernatural met meaningful philanthropy.
Mystery awaited guests as they unearthed secrets that had long been forgotten, while experiencing an evening of alchemy and enchanting entertainment by Elan Artists.
Thanks to the incredible support of our headline sponsor V-Rum, the generous funds donated will help us to change disabled and autistic children’s lives across the UK, and will ensure that our pioneering work to create a more inclusive world for everyone will continue.
How we make a difference
During the evening Charlie Beswick author of Altered Life and advocate for Caudwell Children, shared her personal experiences and why she supports the vital work we do.
In attendance were Caudwell Children beneficiaries Dylan Kelsall, aged 22 who was provided with funding towards a life-changing powered wheelchair, Sebbie Hall, aged 21, who attended Short Break sessions and Jack Cleere, aged 20, who received funding towards life-changing SDR surgery in the United States back in 2010.
“Caudwell Children means everything to me; they give people the opportunity to unlock their potential.” Dylan Kelsall
Where the event took place
