Caudwell Children’s Family Open Day is back!
After the success of last year and seeing so many happy smiley faces, we are delighted to invite you to this year’s Family Open Day at our award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre.
Entry is FREE and everyone is welcome! so bring your family, friends or colleagues along on Friday 9th August from 10am until 3pm for a jam-packed day, filled with fun activities, special guests, entertainment and food.
Meet our Purple People!
You will have the opportunity to meet our ‘Purple People’ and learn about our incredible services, volunteering opportunities and career pathways.
Talk to our in-house clinical team about Caudwell Children’s Autism Assessments or to a member of our Family Support team to see how our services can help you, from mobility equipment to family workshops.
Activities on the day
- Talk to our brilliant “Purple People” staff and volunteers
- Take part in a penalty shootout with Pottermus and his pals
- Browse delicious treats at our fudge Stall
- Meet fluffy and feathered friends in our Animal Farm
- Grab some tasty food from Mimmos’ Italian food truck

Yes, parking will be free with disabled bays available. There will be parking attendants on site to help.
Yes, the event will be fully wheelchair accessible.
Yes, you are welcome to bring any friends and family with you. We just ask that all children are supervised by an adult at all times.

Yes, we will have dedicated quiet rooms, where you can go for some quiet away from the noise of the event. We will also have a calming session taking place, hosted by our clinical staff.
No, the event is free to attend and all activities are free. However, there will be stalls where you can buy food/refreshments.
