Shaping public perception and attitudes, informing government policy and increasing awareness and understanding
Caudwell Children shouldn’t exist.
Children and families should get the support they need from birth.
Everyone, regardless of their abilities or background, should have the same opportunities.
Our mission is to create a world where disabled and autistic children have the choice, opportunity, dignity and understanding they deserve.
We can only achieve this mission by helping to change the way society thinks about disability.
Alongside our practical and emotional support services we are committed to supporting and promoting impact research, meaningful stakeholder engagement, public awareness and education, and supporting Government to develop inclusive policies that remove the inequalities that children and families face.
One day Caudwell Children and other charities like us should not exist, until that day we will keep on doing whatever it takes to remove the barriers society puts in front of disabled and autistic children.
