Freddie aged 8, is autistic and is currently on the ADHD pathway awaiting an assessment. Freddie faces daily challenges with his emotions and struggles to regulate them, which often leads to him feeling overstimulated. Sensory processing can be overwhelming for him, making it difficult to navigate his world at times.
His mum, Samii reached out to Caudwell Children for help and applied for an autism sensory pack. Freddie loves tents, lights and fidget toys, and Samii knew these items could bring him the sensory relief he needed. At school, Freddie often finds the sensory den in the quiet room relaxing, where he can calm himself when his emotions become too much. Samii hoped the pack could recreate that same sense of calm and safety for him at home.
The Autism Sensory Pack has done that’s and more. Freddie’s favourite items are the bubble lamp, the torch, and the small sensory pads. Samii shared, “Freddie is absolutely over the moon with his sensory den. It’s made such a difference—he’s more content, and I’ve seen a positive change in his behaviour. I can’t recommend the Autism Sensory Pack enough.”
For families like Freddie’s, this pack is more than just a collection of toys, it’s a source of comfort and relief. If your child could benefit from sensory items to help them find calm and relief during overwhelming moments, click here to learn more about our Autism Sensory Pack.
